Linear Appraisal: EX90 (EEE) |
This
big beautiful black & white buck is so strong, so correct,
and so dairy.
He has at least 3 other brothers that have appraised EX90, and
several of those have daughters who have also appraised EX90 as
milking does! It gives great credit Audacious' parents
that have had so much consistency in so many various herds
throughout the country. Their sister Audacity appraised
EX91 (EEEE) and has placed very well at the Nationals each and
every time exhibited (and who is the dam of the 2008 National
Champion Temerity). Maternal 1/2 sister Breeze
appraised EX92 (EEEE), and we have yet another Aubree/Full
Service daughter that was born in 2006 named Ava
who we have great hopes for. Several of Audacious
daughters have freshened quite nicely, but unfortunately haven't
been appraised as yet. We have great faith in the
repeatability of this guy, and have bred him to several of our
does with expectations of increased production and capacity of
mammary system in addition to size & scale. His
daughter Tainted Love was 1st place Sr. Yearling & 2008 ADGA
National Jr. Champion. Another daughter Mardi Gras was 2nd
pl. Intermediate Kid at the 2008 Nationals and together with
Kastdemur's Terra Cotta they placed 2nd in the Jr. Get Class
there.

We brought Laredo into
our herd last year as we have so admired many of the Wingwood
Farms animals over the years, especially his dam LaLinda - who
is one of our favorites! They have several beautiful
milking daughters, including SGCH Taylor! They were 2nd
place at the CA State Fair in the Sr. Get of Sire class.
We've seen beautiful strength of bone, correctness of feet and
legs, size & scale, combined with amazing breed character in
his offspring. Unfortunately most of the kids born here
this year from him were buck kids - but we have Lucy in the Sky
to watch now! His sire Romeo goes back to Escapade, who
was a full sister to our 1997 National Champion GCH Kastdemur's
Crown Extatic....and of course back to our 1989 Reserve National
Champion GCH Kastdemur's Extasy. His paternal grandsire
was Decadance who is a son of GCH Kastdemur's Romance who was
1st place 4 year old/1st udder at the 1990 National Show.
So, you can see why it was so easy to decide to bring him to our
herd, bringing in the new....with a touch of our good old girls!

This buckling is a big, deep red, very correct, long tall and
angular guy, has finished his championship (thanks to Jeanne!). His dam Finesse was 1st pl. in her class
at
Nationals both as a yearling and a two year old - and was a
powerful,
well balanced, strong doe with a really outstanding mammary
system. He has been on lease to Jeanne Koploy so we should be
seeing
some wonderful offspring from him very soon! If you look
closely, you'll see that he's very closely related to Temerity
2008 National Champion - a 3/4 brother!

This guy is Krista’s success story of
2004/2005.....our first live A.I. son of Ambassador in
years.....out of a doe that we just love. We really appreciate the length of bone, the angularity,
the stretch, the levelness, the feet and legs.....okay....so we
think this buck kid is pretty nice. His daughters & sons
have shown the structural correctness that we expected, along
with a stronger evidence of dairy character, which is what we
expected in this Ambassador son. His kids resemble the
original Ambassador offspring a great deal, and can't wait till
we see the first ones freshen. King's first and only
daughter to freshen so far, a yearling Misha, appraised at 1
month fresh VG89 VVVE.....and then....as a two year old Misha
appraised EX90.....finished her GCH.....and was 1st place two
year old/1st udder at the 2008 ADGA National Show! His
other daughter Kastdemur's Bella Vista (owned by Jane Robinett)
was 5th place in that same class! His daughters did
incredibly well overall, and we couldn't be happier. He
was named 2008 ADGA National Premier Nubian Sire!

Full Disclosure is a very attractive growthy yearling. He’s got
tremendous strength of bone, correctness and power throughout. His dam is
GCH Lassenwood Miller Kalila – the 2005 ADGA
National Champion/Reserve Best Udder (and granddaughter to ++*B
Brown Sugar’s Crown Ambassador) and his sire is SG ++*B
Kastdemur’s LH Full Service – 1999,2005 & 2006 ADGA National
Show Premier Sire, Superior Genetics Buck & 2005 &
2006 Elite Sire
(90th percentile). Full Disclosure daughters have been
everything we expected, although we don't seem to get a lot of
does ourselves! Uniformly they are level, wide, correct
& strong on their feet and legs. The mammaries we've
seen are beautiful & well attached, globular
and....downright pretty!

Hasta
La Vista is known as "Arnold" here at home....I'm sure
you'll get the joke...since we live in California....couldn't
help ourselves. This beautiful boy exhibits strong general
appearance, great breed character and tremendous dairiness......His
sire King of the Hill brings Ambassador back in closer to our
immediate lines. He was known for improving productivity
and dairiness....Terra was so dairy and angular and strong, we
just couldn't help ourselves when it came time to make a
decision about keeping him. We expect to continue to
improve our breed character, general appearance, dairiness and
productivity with this young guy. Arnold is so very tall
and long - and that head and ears deserve a picture of their own
(coming soon I promise!). We haven't had a ton of
daughters, but the one we have Love Always was 2nd place Jr. Kid
at this year's National Show! Paternal sister Misha was
1st place 2 year old at the Nationals as well, and Bella Vista
(his littermate) was 5th place two year old too!

Time
in a Bottle.....so, we listen to music alot around here (and
okay - they are the oldies!). What can you name a single
buck kid that has the "old time" coloring - black,
very tan trim, and very tan wide, long ears....???? Oh -
and he was an AI product at that?
Time
is a beautiful buckling that looks just like his dam in
structural correctness, length & strength of bone,
angularity, dairiness.....width....strength of breed
character.....We can't wait to use him this year.
